Specializations

Standardized Test Prep (SAT/ACT)

We offer personalized SAT/ACT tutoring, tailoring each lesson with the goal of maximizing the score of each individual student. We do not mean “personalized” as a buzzword the way other tutors do. We use in-house data analysis to develop an optimal timeline for our students based on their individual strengths and weaknesses. We aim for maximal score improvement per hour and do not waste the time of our clients.

  • We provide test prep for the SAT and ACT.

  • The number of hours depends on the student’s starting score, target score, and areas for improvement. On average, students benefit from 20–30 hours of individual tutoring, but we can create custom plans based on their needs.

  • While results vary based on effort and starting level, many of our students see 100–300+ point improvements on the SAT and 3–6 point increases on the ACT.

  • The ACT and SAT are equally accepted by colleges, so the better test depends on the student’s strengths and preferences. We recommend students take a practice test for both to see which aligns better with their skills, then focusing their efforts on preparing for that test to maximize their score.
